Ragin' Recognition

A Celebration of Achievement

We are excited to announce that the annual Ragin Recognition awards program will be on the evening of Tuesday, April 9, 2024! Student organizations are invited to apply for several different awards. There are student organization (group) awards and there are individual leadership awards that any UL Lafayette student may apply for. Each year, student organizations and individuals are given the opportunity to apply for Ragin' Recognition awards. Organizations and individual student leaders may be recognized in the areas of service to campus, collaboration with the community, leadership, marketing efforts, recruitment, and programming. Individual students can apply for class awards (freshman through graduate student), as well as the President's Leadership Award, and Advisor of the Year. Student Organizations and Individuals apply for each award and are then selected by a committee of University Officials. Student organizations are not eligible to win the same award two years in a row.

The deadline to submit ALL award applications is Monday, March 18th, at midnight.  If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Heidie Lindsey ( We look forward to celebrating all of your outstanding work!
